RECRUITING GUIDELINES

A Division 1 coach is looking for MALE golfers to have a SCRATCH handicap, and FEMALE golfers to have a handicap from 0-5.

Division 2 coaches are typically looking for male golfers to have a 0-4 handicap, and their female golfers to have a 0-10 handicap.

A Division 3 coach would like a to have an 8-13 handicap, and FEMALE golfers from 10-20.

ATHLETIC

D1 schools can have a total of 4.5 male scholarship golfers on the team, while the woman’s has a total of 6 scholarships.

D2 schools are allowed to have 3.6 scholarships for their male , and 5.4 scholarships for their female .
